BUSINESS BOOK OF THE YEAR 2011

Poor Economics, which champions radical new ways of tackling global poverty, is the 2011 Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year.

The authors of the five other books were on the shortlist. The other shortlisted books are: Exorbitant Privilege by Barry Eichengreen; Good Strategy/Bad Strategy by Richard Rumelt; The Quest by Daniel Yergin; Triumph of the City by Edward Glaeser; and Willful Blindness: Why We Ignore the Obvious at Our Peril by Margaret Heffernan.
